Masked Robbers Loot Bengaluru Jewellery Store in Seconds, CCTV Footage Surfaces

In a swift robbery, three masked men looted a jewellery store on Magadi Road in Bengaluru, escaping with gold ornaments valued at nearly ₹10 lakh. The entire incident was captured on CCTV cameras installed inside the shop.

The robbery took place just before 6:30 p.m. at Ram Jewellers, located in the Bhairaveshwara Complex. As the owner, Kannaiya Lal, was preparing to close for the day, the three armed men entered the store with their faces covered. One of the robbers pointed a firearm, suspected to be a toy gun, at the owner and pushed him aside when he tried to raise the alarm. Another robber threatened a staff member, while the third quickly grabbed gold ornaments from the display trays.

The robbers executed the heist in a matter of seconds and fled the scene before neighboring shopkeepers, who rushed in upon hearing the commotion, could respond. Initial reports suggest that approximately 180 grams of gold were stolen, although a review of purchase records and billing documents confirmed a loss of 150 grams.

Local police at the Madanayakanahalli station have registered a case and launched an investigation. Special teams have been formed to identify and track down the culprits. Investigators are currently reviewing the CCTV footage, speaking to witnesses, and verifying inventory records against reported losses.

Police suspect that the robbers fled toward the Magadi Road area and are working to determine their escape route. Several individuals are being questioned, and authorities are also examining the possibility that the suspects conducted prior reconnaissance of the store.

Investigators are continuing their efforts to identify the suspects through surveillance analysis and witness testimonies. A formal lookout notice is expected to be issued as soon as further leads are confirmed.
