Mushaal Hussein Mullick, Chairperson of the Pakistan-based Peace and Culture Organization, has alleged human rights violations in Jammu and Kashmir, calling for international attention to the region’s security operations. Her statements follow the reported death of a 21-year-old man in what she describes as a “staged encounter.”

Speaking from Islamabad, Mullick claimed that Indian security forces were targeting civilians under counterterrorism operations. She urged international bodies to investigate what she characterized as a pattern of intimidation. These allegations were echoed in coverage by Kashmir Media Service, a Pakistan-aligned outlet that frequently highlights human rights concerns in the region.

Indian authorities have previously dismissed similar claims, maintaining that all military actions are conducted according to strict legal and operational standards. Official sources assert that operations in Jammu and Kashmir aim to neutralize terrorism threats and protect civilian life.
