Arvind SmartSpaces Appoints Priyansh Kapoor as CEO to Lead Next Phase of Growth

Arvind SmartSpaces Ltd. (ASL), the real estate arm of the Lalbhai Group, has named Priyansh Kapoor as its new Whole-Time Director and Chief Executive Officer, effective August 9, 2025. The announcement marks a key move in the company’s leadership succession plan.

Kapoor joins ASL from Godrej Properties, where he served as Zonal CEO for the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR). With over 16 years of experience in the real estate industry, including leadership roles at The Wadhwa Group, Kapoor has overseen large-scale projects and managed a business portfolio with annual bookings exceeding ₹8,000 crore.

In his new role, Kapoor will be responsible for shaping the company’s strategic direction and driving growth across its key markets, which include Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Bengaluru, Pune, and MMR. His appointment is expected to bolster ASL’s position in the premium residential real estate segment.

Kamal Singal, who has served as Managing Director and CEO for over 15 years, will continue in his role as MD and will mentor Kapoor and the leadership team. Under Singal’s tenure, ASL expanded its footprint and emerged as a key player in the real estate sector.
