Aamir Khan Leases Four Luxury Apartments in Pali Hill for ₹24.5 Lakh a Month

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan has signed a five-year lease for four luxury apartments in the Wilnomona Apartment tower on Nargis Dutt Road, located in Mumbai’s upscale Pali Hill area. The monthly rent for the combined units amounts to ₹24.5 lakh, with a total security deposit of ₹1.47 crore.

The leased flats are spread across two floors and total 8,239 square feet. The lease agreement, effective from May 15, 2025, to May 14, 2030, includes a 45-month lock-in period and a 5 percent annual rent escalation clause.

The move comes as Khan’s existing residence in the Virgo Cooperative Housing Society undergoes redevelopment. The project, being executed by Atmosphere Realty, is a joint venture between Wadhwa Group, MICL, and Chandak Group that will replace the current five-storey building with a 15-storey luxury tower. The new development is expected to feature premium apartments priced at over ₹1 lakh per square foot, with sea-view units likely to exceed ₹100 crore in value.

Pali Hill is one of Mumbai’s most sought-after residential areas, home to several film industry celebrities. The location of Khan’s new rental property is approximately 750 meters from actor Shah Rukh Khan’s temporary residence at Puja Casa. Shah Rukh Khan also opted for a rental arrangement while his iconic home, Mannat, undergoes renovation.

Industry experts note that Mumbai’s elite, including film stars, often choose high-end rental properties during redevelopment or renovation of their homes, allowing them to maintain residence within the same neighborhood without committing to immediate property purchases.

Pali Hill’s property prices currently range between ₹80,000 and ₹1.30 lakh per square foot, placing it among the most expensive residential areas in the city. The neighborhood’s exclusivity, proximity to the sea, and celebrity residents continue to drive demand for luxury homes.
